This website is the work of Douglas Singleton, a narrative artist working out of Brooklyn, New York. The term dispactke is meant to connote a sense of "dispatch" from places experienced, things seen. From the inner reaches. This site began as a series of emails sent to a small group of friends and eventually expanded to acquaintances all over the world. I consider myself a "narrative artist" in the sense that I create narratives using a variety of mediums - fiction, theater, film, poetry, photography, multi-media - befitting the 21st century arts environment we find ourselves in.
